Why do i Ride??

My bike has been my companion, a true best friend and deserves a special blog dedicated to it. Otherwise my blogbook would be so damn incomplete. Actually this is the least I can do to show my love to it, since am broke and reallly cant spend. I had learnt to ride a bike, thanks to my uncle who owned a Hero-honda cd 100 back 8 years ago. Thank GOD that I was a little boy then who did not know of words like "insult" self-respect". Values such as you should not touch things which you cant afford etc. where later developed, again obliging the middle-class Indian. Nevertheless, these values tend to save your face, atleast I wont like to be mocked at as a fuktya...No way. So, here I was getting scolded at by my other uncles about how I could actually fall (and) spoil the bike, LOL! Now you know what I mean!! But the urge was in me, may be transferred through my DAD who had a tough upbringing, a self-made man. I still remmber the hero-honda sleek posters in our aluminium cupboard on the side of his clothes. The first gear on that cd-100 felt like the adrenaline rus h you get when you know, THis is goin to be awesome!"" with a grin on my face, butterflies in my stomach, jittery little hands and a sweaty forehead(coz of the tension of performance, will i fall off)!!! And lo!!!! i was flying, No gliding!!!what was happening at that moment; on that beautiful country road ; a bright sunny day was something that felt close to an orgasM! pure blisss...It was an act i wanted to perform, Remanded by the crippling family members, I knew this is what I want to do, THis is the reason I want to grow taller!!!!I rode second, third and automatically the 4th gear followed. So did the screams from my spirit, that was free flying out of this cage, free from all the shackels, all the benevolence and the remanding. IT feels so damn good to break all the rules and follow your heart!! Slowly a grin spread across the face of my uncle who had now successfully imparted the knowledge. A sage like glow of contentedness was visible. Its like giving a treat in a 5-star to a slumdog! just imaginne his joy and yours cause you had the power, a power to provide!! THis power helped you to help others. It makes you feel special, the chosen one. Imparting knowledge is one of the most sacred acts in mankind, so the respect towards teachers!

I was progressing towards adulthood, the want of having a vehicle become the need of the hour. After whining to buy a bike for like 3 years, my dreams cam true in TYBMS. I was a st.Andrews student, So going to college from thane-bandra was the idea. THe most powerful bike then was the pulsar 180. I approached the local bike dealer, instead of goin to the probiking showroom, booked a black 180. After a couple of days the dealer calls up and says,"Yaar nayi 180 aaayi hai, full digital hai(again first of its kind for the whole year then) ek dum dhamakedaar hai, woh wali uthaoo???"" I thought, called up dad told him that this is all new and is just 3k more...Convinced him, called the dealer, asked him to book it. THe bike came to his showroom along with another friend of mine who booked it at the same time. So these were the 2 brand new 180's first of their kind in thane. They got a movie star like treatment, dealer had a small shop, it was jam packed with visitors, traffic jam on the road etc.!!! it was amazing man!!2 black ferocious lookin bikes. I rode it home. My joy new no bounds!! mY bike was here, again same response in the colony, childern started running behind the bike, innocent statemtns like"Aila dhoom wali bike hai na" "kya st hai na" followed....that was cool. felt like owning a superbike.

Rides where an eventually followed to the purchase of the bike. The first ride to lonavla(110 kms-one way),pune(157kms -one way) then kashid(160kms), velneshwar(460kms-one way), Shirdi(450kms-one way),went to alibaug then a couple of times. Recent was hampi in karnataka(750kms-one way)....AWesome. I live to ride...

MeRi maa... ;)

I have grown up in a cosmopolitan environment. I have been taught to respect women, treat them nicely. I have grown up looking at them as equals and have many good friends in the opposite sex. I have flirted around poked fun at, but, with a lot of precaution. Obviously they are delicate, they are made like that; meant to be like that. As abhisheik explained to saif in "hum tum"(nice movie) you can have bulging biceps, but women have a much much superior muscle, wrapped up in a cage, where its strength is not visible to our naked eye, Away from the glitz and glamour and overrated world of size and shape. The "Heart". A man is essentially in need of a woman's companionship, devoid of what the need is! You see the light of this world through a woman!! the infectious love which you are addicted to and take it for granted; for all the right reasons. You grow up and grwo out of that love, the needs increase; lo! you find another woman, same age quite a bit of similarity, guys who have had a very loving mother, always will try to find(mostly sub-consciously) some congruence in their new found love and their beloved mother. And here we are in the arms of another woman!!!

As I was witnessing the turmoil, angst and confusion leading to utter noise and literally heart-aching chaos; i questioned my mother, is it always like this???! It was pointed at a family with a son his 13 year old wife and a 9 year old daughter. He is living with his parents, an obsessive mother and a super formal father. The new wife is not exactly the most exotic of the lot, coming from a small town, from a small town family; Her values and upbringing has probably made her face the ugly faces of time. Thus very rustic while quarrelling and could go down to any level while at it!! this would scare the shit out of this guy and his respect loving parents. So, my question was answered, when a mother(a women) doesn't accept it that her son is going to be taken care of by his wife(another women) you get the above outcome!!...

Poetry?

I know you must be chuckling with joy. Oh! U sadist, how does it feel to be in total control? Hate the look in your eyes when I feel like a mole!,,

Oh You SAdIst, does it feel like crushing an insect to death,

Just to feel the cracking bones beneath,

Just to hear the creature squeal

So that its pain is your pleasure

Then ask the half dead creature,

Why are you squealing?

Why is your breath so short? Is it paining?

Did I hurt u?!?!?!!!

I know you will walk away, bUt My wrath,

Shall bring you to your knees, when you will beg,

‘but there wont be no mercy,

You shall burn in your guilt, but there shall be no water,

No one shall ask you questions,

But your own questions shall slice you,

Coz this is no sadist pleasure,

This is GOD, his revenge…

OfFic oFficE...

I have just begun my stint in "NETSCRIBE SOLUTIONS". I know never heard of it right..its a market research firm; so I am a Research associate!!.. sounds cool huh..The surprise package is the office culture..rather a culture shock for me. There was a time in my previous job which was at "kotak securities" at worli, it was dir3ct sales profile. It was like havin my mentor/boss/everything up my a$$ all the time, things like coming 30 seconds late was also a huge crime, unneccesary bullying coz of age-difference and obviously post and the salary automatically became the norm. Here the organisation is "flat"to the 't'. The best part is the flexible timing, you know, one can come any time and leave only after completing his/her 9 hours, now that can be any pat of the 24hrs. So, boss nagging at you , no dhamkis no bullying. This takes a huge burden off you, especially when you are travellin 30kms one-way!...I had to tele-call in the earlier profile, which was quite an insulting experience overall, here Dont.

In sales, the only thing you require is contacts + Luck or Only LUck+ obviously hard work or some work atleast. Now if you are lucky; out of the 90 odd calls you make you can get 90 meetings and thats 3 metings per day for a month, and out of 90 you can convert 50- 5cr deals and 40-80/90lac deals, you know what i mean...but agar nasib **ndu toh, you get no meetings + your rm is going back and forth up your a$$ + no conversions + you keep calling for another couple of days(90 per day) till yuo get 4 or 5 meetings...the point is, you must be working like crazy, but at the end of the day, that profile blesses only those who get the lucky "sale"..
I did learn and polish and got a good command over
> office politics
>communication skills
I met one of the best office colleagues ever...vivek,abhinav, rahul, birju, maneet, buund maar denge, pappa, gaurav sir, rahul m, deep shit, kamal ,manish b, amruta, nishi, tereko bolana,..

In the research profile, I am my own boss. I need to meet the dead lines of submitting the reports, I can come at whatever time I want, once you can manage time properly, one c an study, and go to the gym as well. I get weekends offf...I get to go for movies, go for classes, learn my guitar, gte my bike all souped up....coOoOl..what i am gonna gain..
>mental peace
>time management lessons
>huge amount of knowledge.

hoping for the best....

Hi ...

To begin with this my "first ever" blog!! This can be because of lack of time may be! ..hey but not because of ignorance or lack of vocabulary, to say the least!  I saw the power of blogs sore high & drop down. Yes, a blog is an expression of an individual,
be it politically, sociallycorrect or not, but i belive over the time, blogs became more
of a personal means to register your anguish and to just  relive your sub-conscience of
that burden. I think it was started of as a one of the many "weapons" that an average person has
to voice his opinions regarding social issues.
I honestly wanted to be part of the elocution, debates team in my school. But always there were these select few students who were "the gang". So no need of experimenting with this new chap!
But hey no hard feelings! cuase 'blogs" have come to my rescue..! lol...Its always about looking ahead, & always belive,if you have it in you, you will get a chance someday.! thats what keeps me going...
